Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has been priced to join Liverpool in the summer. The England left-back is widely expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer as his career in west London winds down. Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is scouting Europe for a new left-back and has several targets in his sights. Rodgers has been linked with Sevilla’s Alberto Moreno, Wolfsburg’s Ricardo Rodriguez as well as Cole. Bookmakers have priced Cole to sign for the Anfield club at 5/1 this summer and end his eight year association with the west London club. If Cole did move north, he would hook up with someone he knows well in Rodgers, who spent four years as a coach at Chelsea. Cole has been ousted from the left side as Jose Mourinho prefers to use Cesar Azpilicueta, a right-back by trade, instead. With Southampton’s Luke Shaw also heavily linked with a summer move to Chelsea, Cole’s days look numbered at Stamford Bridge.
