Valencia newspaper Super Deporte¬†say Rogers will make a move for the former Real Madrid star as soon as the season ends. But the Spanish side will try and hold out for his release clause of 30m. But Valencia’s poor financial state means they may accept a figure closer to 20m. The Spanish side recently sold Sergio Canales and Ever Banega to raise much needed funds. Rodgers wants another midfielder with Lucas Leiva’s injuries leaving him short of options earlier in the season. Liverpool look likely to qualify for the Champions League, which could add as an added incentive for Parejo to join the Reds.
