Liverpool are weighing up a summer move for Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker, FootballDirectNews.com understands.
The 22-year-old has been one of the top performers for the Welsh side this season, though he could be available for transfer if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side end up being relegated.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has worked with Caulker before, taking the former Tottenham Hotspur centre-back on loan during his time in charge of Swansea City.
It was during this time that the one-time England international found some of the best form of his career. Everton are also thought to be interested in Caulker, but a reunion with Rodgers may be the most tempting prospect for him as he looks to revive his career.
