Both L’Equipe and France Football suggest that the Argentine coach is a top managerial candidate for PSG and Monaco, whose current head coaches Laurent Blanc and Claudio Ranieri face an uncertain summer. Blanc’s future at the Parc des Princes has recently come under doubt after a disappointing exit to Chelsea in the Champions League last week, despite his side sitting comfortably top of the French top flight and looking set to retain their title win from last season.
Monaco are also doing well on their first season back in Ligue 1 after winning promotion last year, as they sit ten points behind PSG in second place, though the club’s wealthy owners are believed to be keen on bringing in a bigger name than Ranieri. Simeone has worked wonders with Atletico since taking over, and his side remain on course for glory both in La Liga and the Champions League in this incredible season.
