The possible arrival of Alexis Sanchez to Juventus this summer could have an affect on Nani’s proposed move to the Italian side, according to Forza Italian Football’s David Schiavone. Portuguese winger Nani is firmly expected to leave Old Trafford this summer after making just six Premier League starts and a number of top European teams have shown interest.
Mainly from Italy, the likes of Inter Milan and Juventus have maintained their interest, with the latter extremely keen to add the 27-year-old to their squad for next season.
Talks of a confirmed deal between the winger and the Turin based club have been reported in recent weeks, however, editor of Forza Italian Football, David Schiavone believes that talk of Alexis Sanchez’s arrival from Barcelona to Juventus has caused problems. Everything I am hearing about Nani is links with Juventus. The player was reportedly targeted last summer by Antonio Conte, who is keen to give his side tactical flexibility through the use of wingers, he said. With the Portuguese seemingly destined to leave Man United, there has been talk of an agreement between Nani and Juventus, though it has not been confirmed. Agreeing a fee with United should be relatively easy given his place in their squad. However, one spanner in the works is Juve’s reported deal with Alexis Sanchez, which would either put paid to any attempt to sign Nani, or severely reduce Juve’s offer to United. “
