Juventus are reportedly eyeing up a summer move for Roma and former Arsenal winger Gervinho, according to Infoticker. ch. It has been claimed today that the Ivory Coast international has rejected the offer of a new contract at the Stadio Olimpico, putting possible suitors Manchester United on alert going into this summer’s transfer window.
However, it seems that Italian champions Juventus could also be interested in making a move for the 26-year-old, who had an impressive first season in Serie A, scoring nine goals and laying on ten assists for his team-mates as they finished runners-up to the Turin giants.

Although Juve are also looking into a number of other new signings on the flanks, including United winger Nani, Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez, and Angel Di Maria of Real Madrid, Gervinho’s situation with Roma looks to have put him on their shortlist as well. Gervinho has certainly come on leaps and bounds since leaving Arsenal last summer, where he seemed to struggle to settle in, and his fine form could now have earned him a move to a real giant of European football. Roma will no doubt be keen to avoid selling one of their star players to a rival, but will hope to find some solution to the issue of Gervinho’s contract.
