Juventus boss Antonio Conte has asked the club’s board to give him the funds to make a summer move for Real Madrid’s Angel Di Maria. The Argentine winger has been in superb form this season, having scored and created a total of 20 goals combined. Yet, his future at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu remains in doubt as Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti tinkers with his squad and plans a number of summer ins and outs to freshen up his side. Manchester United’s reported new boss Louis van Gaal is understood to have made Di Maria one of his transfer targets but it is now understood that Juventus boss Antonio Conte has instructed the club to make the winger one of theirs. Conte’s future at the Serie A club is still not understood but it being reported by TuttoSport that with a contract demand, he has asked for the arrival of Di Maria and some other names to strengthen the squad this summer. Di Maria has a current contract at Madrid that runs until 2018.
