Hot prospect Juan Iturbe has been signed up by Verona on a permanent deal, with the Italian club now prepared to listen to offers for the star – as Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur lurk. Iturbe has been on-loan at Verona from Porto this season with the playmaker being in fine form after scoring eight goals and creating five in his 33 appearances this term – sparking interest from around Europe in the star. Iturbe was always set to sign permanently for the Serie A side at the end of the season – with that 12m deal now confirmed. Verona’s director general Giovanni Gardini had confirmed the player could leave for pastures new in the summer – but only after completing a permanent move to the Serie A club. And sporting director Sean Sogliano has also revealed a deal could be done if the right offer comes in this summer. Iturbe? For me he is worth more than 24m, he told Italian TV channel Telenuovo.
