Lazio midfielder Antonio Candreva would prefer a move to Liverpool if he decides to leave Italy and come to the Premier League. Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have all shown an interest in the player but will have to fight off Serie A leaders Juventus if they are to secure his signature. The Italian would prefer to play in the Champions League but will not make any decisions until the summer. “Candreva wants to test himself in the Champions League and has always liked Liverpool,” a source said. The 27-year-old is co-owned by Lazio and Udinese with the clubs set to hold talks on whether to continue the arrangement or let him leave. Candreva would cost around 8m though that is likely to rise if he performs well at the World Cup. The player has been linked with a move to Juventus after having a brief spell there from January to June 2010.
