Inter Milan director Piero Ausilio revealed the Italian giants are working on deals to bring Premier League pair Fernando Torres and Edin Dzeko to the club.  The Serie A side are ready to launch their ambitious recruitment drive in the summer as they bid to get back among the elite of Europe. Inter are looking to increase their firepower and regard the Manchester City and Chelsea duo as proven performers who are capable of scoring the goals they need to see them challenge for Serie A. Both Torres and Dzeko are likely to consider their futures in the summer and could decide to join Inter with the chance to play more regularly.

Ausilio was asked by Sky Sport Italia which of the strikers he wanted most but failed to give anything concrete away.

“Aside from the names, I think it’s obvious we are working in that direction for that role,” he said. “It’s true we cannot target players whose wages are too high, but in football there are often many other resources. We’ll put a little bit of creativity and ingenious thought into it. ”Watch Arsenal v Man City Saturday or Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur, Sunday.
