Three Spanish strikers based in the Premier League are among Inter Milan’s main transfer targets this summer, according to Fichajes. com.
The Italian giants are known to be in the market for new signings upfront ahead of next season, with wealthy owner Erick Thohir keen to help the club bring in some big names to boost their squad for next year. Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has long been linked with a move to the San Siro, and he is joined by Manchester City’s Alvaro Negredo and Tottenham Hotspur’s Roberto Soldado as Inter’s leading striker candidates. Another Spaniard, Real Madrid youngster Alvaro Morata, is also believed to be on their list, while another City star in Edin Dzeko has also been linked with the club in the past, though he now seems likely to remain at the Etihad Stadium.
Torres has not managed to find his best form for Chelsea since joining the club in a 50million move from Liverpool in 2011, while Negredo and Soldado have both struggled in their first seasons in English football. Soldado in particular has flopped at White Hart Lane following his 26m move from Valencia last summer, though Inter are ready to give each of these players another chance to find their best form in Italy.
