Inter Milan will turn to Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski if they miss out on Fernando Torres. The Serie A club have earmarked Chelsea striker Torres as a key summer signing and owner Erick Thohir is set to meet with officials this weekend, according to reports. Inter are keen on adding former Liverpool striker Torres to their squad next season as a partner for Argentine forward Rodrigo Palacio. Torres’s former club Atletico Madrid have also been linked with a move for the 30-year-old forward as they look at replacements for Diego Costa who is ironically expected to join Chelsea. Torres was a trainee at the Vicente Calderon where he scored 84 goals in La Liga before sealing a move to Liverpool in 2007. According to a report on Calissimo.com, Inter will turn to Arsenal forward Podolski if they miss out on Torres. The German is another that has been touted to leave his club this summer as Gunners boss Arsene Wenger plots to bring in French forward Karim Benzema.
