Manchester United legend Gary Neville has ruled himself out of the running to become the new boss of his former club. Speculation has been rife about who will fill the shoes of hapless boss David Moyes who was sacked last week after a nightmare season in charge. Red Devils legend Ryan Giggs has been put in temporary charge as manager until the end of the season but is expected to step aside for the new chief in the summer. Louis van Gaal is the favourite to land the post with the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager available after the World Cup when he vacates his post as Holland boss. But following Giggs’ interim appointment, with the star supported by his “class of 92” teammates Paul Scholes, Phil Neville and Nicky Butt there have been growing calls in some quarters for Gary Neville to be given the post.
