Fulham defender John Heitinga could be on his way out of the club this summer, after only joining the club from Everton in January. The 30-year-old signed a six-month deal with the Cottagers in the January transfer window and looks certain to move on, with Newcastle United believed to be keen on the 30-year-old Dutchman..googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(“div-gpt-ad-1389116196215-0”); });Alongside Newcastle, Turkish giants Galatasaray have also been monitoring Heitinga in recent weeks, with the Magpies failing in a previous bid for the defender. Heitinga was signed by former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen but the Dutchman was axed in mid-February and replaced by Felix Magath. Despite the managerial change the Cottagers remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table and are facing a major battle to survive. As a result a number of players are believed to be keen to leave in the summer, with Heitinga set to head the queue.
