Manchester United’s hopes of luring Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal to Old Trafford have been dealt a blow after the Italian champions’ managing director Giuseppe Marotta insisted he is happy in Turin. Marotta said: “We are pleased that the eyes of the big clubs are focused on our players.“But we want to grow, even in Europe, so we want to take the players and not sell them.“Vidal is well here and we are fine with him, so I think he remains here.”United are anxious to bolster their midfield and if Vidal is out of reach, they are sure to switch their attention to other targets.
