Former Liverpool loanee Nuri Sahin is close to signing a permanent deal at Borussia Dortmund. The German club have agreed a fee with Sahin’s club Real Madrid that will see the former Liverpool midfielder move permanently to the Westfalenstadion this summer. Turkish midfielder spent last season on loan at Liverpool, but failed to make a big impact appearing just seven times in the league for the club. He agreed to a return to former club Dortmund on loan last summer from Madrid, who he joined in 2011. As a permanent fixture at Dortmund, Sahin has enjoyed a relatively successful season at his old club and is keen on a permanent switch in the summer. According to Frichajes.net, German media are reporting that a 7 million fee has been agreed with Madrid president Florentino Perez with regards to a switch back to Germany. It will end a frustrating few seasons for Sahin after his failed spell at Liverpool and Madrid.
