Italian side Fiorentina are in talks with Manchester United for midfielder Anderson and have become buoyed after learning they may get a discount on his proposed valuation. The 26-year-old midfielder saw his time with Manchester United come to an end in January when he was deemed surplus to requirements and loaned out to Serie A side Fiorentina. And, it is understood that the Italian side are keen to make his move a permanent one this summer and have been in talks with Old Trafford officials. The Brazilian has featured eight times under boss Vincenzo Montella and the club are extremely impressed with his attitude and commitment to the cause since arriving. Talks have been developing in recent weeks but after being told of a 6m transfer fee, Fiorentina have now become buoyed after United officials reduced the price due to Anderson’s expiring contract, which will expire next June. Since arriving at Old Trafford in 2007, Anderson has made 179 appearances for United, winning the Premier League title four times and the Champions League title, once.
