Former Manchester United midfielder Robbie Savage has blasted Red Devils manager David Moyes for his tactics and team selection in the 3-0 home loss to rivals City. Savage, who started his career at Old Trafford but never made a senior appearance for the club, was shocked to see the side the Scot named against the title-challenging Blues. He said on Twitter: “Just back from game, City brilliant , no idea what utd were doing tactically so many changes of positions from players, no confidence“No idea, Mata starts on right? Cleverley once again poor, Fellaini on left of a 3? Rooney tried his best!“Being at the game you can see whole picture and I must say at times utd looked clueless“I said 3-1 City, thought they would score they barely had a shot , worrying times for utd fans.“Very very poor team selection from Moyes, he’s the manager and continues to play mata on right and starts cleverley ,why can’t he see it ?”Read more Manchester City transfer news.
