Ex-Juventus star Michel Platini has insisted that Paul Pogba has the power to decide his own fate as clubs around Europe continue to monitor his situation. The 21-year-old ace has been the subject of intense speculation he will leave the Turin club this summer with Real Madrid and Manchester United keen on landing the midfielder. But Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has recently revealed his client is happy in Turin while pointing out that the club do not want to sell him – with a new deal expected to be signed soon. The French star had repeatedly refused to discuss a new deal until after the World Cup – putting his potential suitors on high alert. And Platini thinks whether Pogba decides to stay or leave will depend totally on him. “Nowadays these players have the power to do what they want, do I do not know,” he told Tuttosport.“Of course it should be remembered that it was Juventus who made him great, even if for great money they sold him and everyone was happy.”Read more Manchester United transfer news.
