Ex-Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar thinks Arsene Wenger is the best Premier League manager.  The typically outspoken remarks from the entrepreneur will raise eyebrows with him effectively rating the Frenchman above Jose Mourinho, who has won the Champions League twice, while Wenger has yet to win the competition. Wenger has found an unlikely ally in recent days after Lord Sugar has launched a staunch defence of Tottenham’s deadly rivals’ boss, with him even going so far as to say he would love him at White Hart Lane. Speculation has been mounting over Wenger’s future after Arsenal’s title hopes were dealt another massive blow on Tuesday when Swansea grabbed a late equaliser – leaving the north London side six points off leaders Chelsea.  Wenger has yet to sign a new deal at the club with some reports claiming he is even contemplating leaving in the summer amid interest from Barcelona and other potential suitors.  The Arsenal boss has once again come under fire for overseeing a team that has capitulated when it comes to the crunch with some questioning whether he can ever lead the team to another Premier League title.  And although Wenger has not won a trophy with the Gunners since 2005 he does have an impressive record of securing Champions League football for the Gunners – a fact highlighted by Lord Sugar, who said on Twitter that “Wenger is best manager in PL”.
