Cocky Bayern Munich star Toni Kroos has pulled the plug on a possible move to Man United after goading the Premier League club. The attacker, who had been linked with a switch to Old Trafford in the summer, showed David Moyes’ side a total lack of respect when he expressed his delight at today’s Champions League quarter-final draw. Kroos arrogantly mocked United by insisting it was an absolute certainty that the Bundesliga outfit would defeat the Red Devils and progress to the semi-finals. Writing on his Facebook page the German said: “In the semi-finals of course. ”The reigning champions are favourites to retain their trophy while United are generally regarded as the outsiders following a poor season.
Moyes will be hoping the rest of the Munich side are equally complacent as Kroos when the teams meet.
