Midfielder Adrien Rabiot will wait before deciding on a move to Chelsea to see if he will get more enough game time at Paris Saint-Germain. The 18-year-old midfielder is highly thought of inside the gates of the Parc des Princes and the club are keen to keep a hold of the prospect. However, the arrival of Yohan Cabaye from Newcastle United in January and the expected signing of midfielder Paul Pogba in the summer is said to block Rabiot’s path to the first team further. Chelsea are monitoring Rabiot’s situation carefully, as are Juventus according to a report in La Parisien, as they look into the possibility of signing the Frenchman in the summer. There is a suggestion that Juventus will beat Chelsea to the punch as they use Pogba in their negotiations. Rabiot has a contract at PSG until 2015, but is not keen to sign an extension, preferring instead to wait and see what develops at the club this summer.
