Chelsea target Mauro Icardi has been compared to Argentina legend Gabriel Batistuta. The Inter Milan hitman, a top target for Blues boss Jose Mourinho according to sources close to Stamford Bridge, scored twice at Sampdoria in his latest outing. Ex-Inter forward Nicola Berti told TV Gazza he sees similarities with Fiorentina stalwart Batistuta, one of Serie A’s all-time greats. He said: “He is 20-years-old and people should keep an eye on him. In 18 appearances he has eight goals but has not always played 90 minutes and this means it is a very high goal average.“He has the movements of the great champion Batistuta and truly resembles him.”Mourinho has made no secret of the fact that he has not been satisfied with the performances of his misfiring strikers this season. It is widely-anticipated that he will bring in at least one world class forward during the summer transfer window but he could swoop for as many as three.
