Borussia Dortmund are edging closer to taking Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku to Germany in the summer.
The Belgian forward has been in impressive form this season out on loan at Everton, scoring 11 Premier League goals for the Toffees, including one in the weekend win over Swansea City.

As such Everton are keeping the pressure on the teams above them as they look to gatecrash the European places. Lukaku has been attracting interest from several teams, especially in the Premier League, although Blues boss Jose Mourinho will not let him move to another English side on loan next year. Dortmund are very much front runners for the 20-year-old striker, although face stiff competition from the likes of Monaco. A FootballDirectNews.com source said that the German Bundesliga side remain very much in the running for Lukaku and remain in contact with the player’s agent Mino Raiola. It was reported last week that Blues coach Jose Mourinho will sell striker Lukaku in the summer, believing the striker lacks the mentality to play for his club.
