Chelsea could look to sign Atletico Madrid left-back Filipe Luis as well as striker Diego Costa, according to Fichajes.net. The Blues are in the market for new signings at left-back this summer, with veteran defender Ashley Cole possibly set to leave the club on a free transfer when his contract expires. Cole has been out of favour with Jose Mourinho for much of this season, with Cesar Azpilicueta playing out of position on the left-hand side, but a host of big names have been linked with the London club as the Portuguese boss reportedly eyes a specialist to come in in that position. The likes of Caner Erkin of Fenerbahce and Real Madrid’s Marcelo have also been mentioned as possible targets, but Luis’ fine form for Atletico may now have made him Chelsea’s top target. With reports circulating that the Blues already have a deal in place to sign star striker Costa from the La Liga outfit, this would represent another major blow for Diego Simeone’s highly impressive side, who are still chasing a league and European double this season. Young playmaker Koke has also been linked with an exit from the club in recent times, with Manchester United and Bayern Munich thought to be interested.
