The son of West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan has criticised the side’s performance in the 3-1 loss at Arsenal. The Hammers started brightly and took the lead through a Matt Jarvis effort, only to see attacker Lukas Podolski level before the break. An Olivier Giroud strike and Podolski’s second of the night ended the visitors’ hopes of claiming a famous win and Jack Sullivan vented his frustration on social media site Twitter. He claimed Sam Allardyce’s men must raise their game on Saturday when they entertain Crystal Palace at Upton Park. Sullivan said: “Got to be good Saturday! I thought (midfielder Antonio) Nocerino was fantastic alongside Jarvis but we were not good enough overall #COYI.”While West Ham are likely to avoid relegation from the Premier League this term after improving their results since the turn of the year, it is still mathematically possible, placing extra emphasis on the clash with in-form Palace.
