Montpellier chairman Louis Nicollin has confirmed that he expects both Remy Cabella and Benjamin Stambouli to leave in the summer. Cabella has been linked with a move to the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle United in the Premier League in recent times, with the latter believed to have previously been close to a deal. While Stambouli and Cabella have contracts at Montpellier that run until 2015 and 2016 respectively, it is expected that the duo will leave the 2012 French champions this summer, according to outspoken chairman Nicollin. He told Midi Libre: “It is official, he (Stambouli) leaves. Cabella as well, probably.”While Cabella has been noted for his attacking and creative play, Stambouli has been earning high praise for his displays in the Montpellier defence and has been mentioned as a potential top defender with many imploring Arsenal to take an interest in the 23-year-old.
