Brazilian outfit Sport Club Internacional reportedly want to lure Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro back to his homeland this summer. According to Lancenet, the club has money to spend during the next transfer window and have set their heart on the 25-year-old, who left Internacional for north London in 2010. A second spell remains in the balance, as the report claims their newfound transfer budget could still fall short of matching Tottenham’s expectations when the bidding process begins. Sandro, who has two years remaining on his contract at White Hart Lane, is a popular member of the dressing room but has endured an injury-hit campaign this time around. He was hurt in the 5-0 home loss to Liverpool on December 15 – the last game head coach Andre Villas-Boas oversaw before being sacked –  and did not feature again until February 27. The Brazil international has, however, been a regular fixture under boss Tim Sherwood, increasing his overall tally of appearances to 23.
