Brazilian club Flamengo have denied reports that they are trying to sign AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli. The Italian striker has been heavily linked with a summer move away from Milan with the likes of Chelsea interested but one latest rumour has been rubbished by Flamengo president – Eduardo Bandeira. Bandeira has taken to rubbish claims that his side were working alongisde Balotelli’s footwear company – Adidas to make a summer deal possible. Speaking to Radio Globo, Bandeira said: “The club are not dealing with something like this, I find it hard that Adidas is dealing alone on such a thing.”Balotelli recently spoke with us exclusively about his future, saying that a move to Premier League side Chelsea could be possible and with Flamengo’s admission that their interest is false, boss Jose Mourinho is given the all-clear to make a move.
