Tottenham Hotspur could be boosted in their efforts to sign Valencia defender Adil Rami, with Fichajes. net reporting that AC Milan have decided against signing the on-loan centre-back permanently.
The 28-year-old joined the San Siro giants from Valencia on a six-month loan deal this January, and although he has scored two goals in seven appearances for the side, his all-round defensive displays have not done enough to impress manager Clarence Seedorf.
The Frenchman, who had been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United prior to his move to Milan, has recently become a top target for Tottenham, who now seem likely to step up their efforts to sign him in the summer transfer window, FootballDirectNews.com understands.
