Xherdan Shaqiri is still interested in a Premier League switch this summer despite the player cooling speculation he would be joining Manchester United. The Swiss international insisted last week that he has no desire to leave the Allianz Arena any time soon despite finding opportunities hard to come by. I never said that I want to leave Bayern Munich, Shaqiri had said. But despite his comments FDN understands he is likely to move if he is offered the chance of regular football. United and Liverpool are keen to land the player but know he could cost as much as 30m if he does leave the German champions. Shaqiri, who has only made 15 Bundesliga appearances this term with just eight coming from the start, has Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery, Toni Kroos, Mario Gotze and Thomas Muller all ahead of him in the pecking order.
