Bayern Munich defender Dante claims there is nothing to be afraid of when the Bavarian giants meet Manchester United in the Champions League quarter-finals. The Red Devils were handed arguably the most difficult draw available to them in the last-eight, as they have to tackle the holders and travel to Germany for the second leg at the Allianz Arena. Brazil international Dante revealed his respect for United hitman Robin van Persie, whose hat-trick helped David Moyes’ men overcome Olympiacos in the last round in a 3-0 win. However, the towering centre-half sees no reason for he and his team-mates to fear next month’s showdown. He said on Twitter: “We have to be focused at Old Trafford. @Persie_Official is a world-class player but we don’t need to be afraid.”Bayern eliminated United from the competition at the same stage four years ago, with winger Arjen Robben netting a memorable winner in Manchester.
