Barcelona could look to pounce for unsettled Chelsea winger Eden Hazard, [football] direct news understands. The Belgian attacker has been one of the most impressive players in the Premier League this season, earning the PFA Young Player of the Year award after some dazzling attacking displays. However, the 23-year-old’s future at Stamford Bridge is now under some doubt after a public dispute with manager Jose Mourinho last week, who has criticised the player for not tracking back enough. Hazard, in turn, was critical of Mourinho’s tactics in their Champions League semi-final tie with Atletico Madrid, and has supposedly since expressed a desire to join Barcelona in the summer. The Catalan giants are keen on the player as well as they look to rebuild after a difficult season which could see them end trophyless. Bayern Munich’s Mario Goetze and Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus have also been linked with moves to the Nou Camp in the attacking midfield positions. Still, Hazard’s availability could now make him the club’s top target, though Manchester City are also showing an interest after events last week.
