Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul is reportedly on Barcelona’s radar this summer, according to Fichajes. net.
The 25-year-old has been linked with the Catalan giants as well as other top clubs in the past, and may finally be on the move from St James’ Park this summer as Barca look set to revive their interest in the player. With Victor Valdes and Jose Manuel Pinto possibly both set to leave the Nou Camp in the summer, Krul could come in as one of two new signings in goal, with Marc-Andre ter Stegen of Borussia Monchengladbach also expected to join the La Liga champions. It seems possible that Krul would only be brought in as a backup player, though he may still find the opportunity to move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs a hard one to turn down, with Newcastle enduring another frustrating season in the Premier League.
The Dutchman’s fine individual form has not been able to prevent the Magpies losing six times in their last ten games, with some heavy defeats to the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton along the way.

Manchester City and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with Krul in recent months, and may still provide some competition to Barcelona in the chase for his signature.
