Atletico Madrid have identified Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen as a potential replacement for in-demand midfielder Koke, it has emerged. Diego Simeone’s side have had to deal with plenty of transfer speculation surrounding their best players this season, and could face offers from the likes of Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Manchester United for star youngster Koke.
The 22-year-old has been in superb form for Atletico this season, contributing six goals and 14 assists to his side’s cause, and the La Liga leaders would certainly miss his creativity if he were to leave.

Although Eriksen has only been at Tottenham since the summer, Atletico believe they may be able to prise him away from White Hart Lane for the right price, with potential sales of Koke and Diego Costa likely to bring in plenty of funds to reinvest into the squad.
The Danish international has adapted well in the Premier League, nothing up eight goals and six assists in all competitions, though Spurs have not enjoyed the best season overall.
