Atletico Madrid could make a summer move for Spurs flop Roberto Soldado if they decide to cash-in on Diego Costa.  The Spanish striker has badly struggled in England scoring just five times in 22 Premier League appearances – with four of those coming from the spot.
The 26m signing from Valencia has looked bereft of confidence with his season hitting a new low following a horrendous open goal miss from four yards against Dnipro in the Europa League last week. He also skewed wide a good chance against Norwich as Spurs desperately tried to salvage something from a tired display.

Despite his English woes Soldado is still highly regarded in Spain after scoring 24 league goals last season and according to Todo Mercado Atletico will try and bring back the striker if they sell Costa. Costa has bagged an impressive 21 league goals this term and is only second in the scoring charts behind Cristiano Ronaldo. Both Chelsea and Arsenal are said to be interested in Costa and could make a move in the summer, but will have to meet the 32m release clause.
