Aston Villa are weighing up a possible summer move for Fulham forward Pajtim Kasami, FootballDirectNews.com understands.
The 21-year-old has attracted plenty of interest this season after some promising displays, and has been linked with the likes of Juventus and Liverpool, though Villa are hoping to join the chase for his signature.

Although clearly a top talent, Kasami has struggled for consistency at points in a difficult season for Fulham, and this may mean top clubs are not willing to gamble on him, while Villa are supposedly desperate to bring him in as they look to improve their attacking options. Paul Lambert’s side are in possible relegation trouble themselves after another disappointing result as they lost 4-1 at home to Stoke City this weekend, and the manager will be under pressure to bring in new players to improve his team’s fortunes next year.
There is likely to be an opportunity to sign Kasami if Fulham go down, and a club insider says he is a top target for Villa if they stay up. Some top clubs have looked at him, but I don’t think he’s going to get a really big move just yet, a Villa Park insider explained. “If Fulham go down and we stay up, my understanding is he’d be one of our priority signings.
