[football] direct news understands that Arsenal’s unwillingness to offer Bacary Sagna a longer deal may see the French international leave. The full-back has been in negotiations with the North London club since the turn of the year but a lack of willingness to resolve his situation may see the Frenchman leave this summer. Sagna has received interest from a number of clubs, including Galatasaray, Inter Milan and AS Monaco as his contract expires in June, making him available on a free transfer. Instead, it is understood that Sagna desires a longer contract than the one which is being offered by Arsene Wenger and the board.
