Arsenal target Mario Balotelli is being lined up as part of a swap deal that will see him join Napoli with Marek Hamsik going the other way, according to leggo.it. New Milan boss Clarence Seedorf left Balotelli on the bench on Sunday as his team drew 1-1 with Fiorentina – pushing the controversial striker closer to the exit door. Seedorf was considered by many to be one of the last supporters of the Italian but it now appears even he has run out of patience with the former Manchester City star. An angry Balotelli hit out after his snub at the weekend. “Life is full of fake people. Do not believe anybody,” he wrote on Twitter. The former Citizen had an excellent start to his career at boyhood club Milan, scoring 12 times last season after his January move from the Premier League. He has scored 13 times so far this season but his form of late has meant he has come in for criticism from several quarters, including former boss Roberto Mancini who said he needs to get back to his best. It seems the troublesome striker will be offered an escape route while Slovakian Hamsik is also ready for a change.
