Arsene Wenger’s side got the better of the Hammers 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League. Matt Jarvis put visiting West Ham ahead on 40 minutes, but the hosts restored parity through Lukas Podolski on the stroke of half time. Olivier Giroud made it 2-1 to the Gunners 10 minutes into the second half, and Podolski added his second 12 minutes from time to wrap up the win. The win has lifted Arsenal back into fourth place in the league table, as they now have 67 points from 34 matches. Ramsey started on the bench for the Gunners and came on for Tomas Rosicky in the 72nd minute. The Wales international was overjoyed with Arsenal’s win and was glad to have given the fans something to cheer about. Great to be back on the Emirates pitch and a good win (unless you’re @robthechefAFC, who’s a West Ham fan!) more Arsenal transfer news.
