Arsenal have offered Kasper Schmeichel a contract as his deal with Leicester City comes to an end, according to Danish reports. Kasper Schmeichel has been in superb form this season for Championship side Leicester City, helping them gain promotion to the Premier League. But, his current deal with the club is set to expire in June, leaving him open to offers and it is understood by Danish media BT that Arsenal have offered the 27-year-old a contract. Foxes boss Nigel Pearson is reportedly keen to keep hold of the Danish international after seeing him keep 19 clean sheets this season. Schmeichel began his career with Manchester City and has since gone on to play for eight different clubs, ranging from Scottish side Falkirk to Coventry City.
