Arsenal have made a move for Napoli midfielder Jorginho as they seek to fight off Liverpool and Chelsea. The Brazilian was part of the team that helped Hellas Verona win promotion to Serie A, with his displays catching the eye of clubs across Europe. Jose Mourinho and Brendan Rogers were among those who made tentative contact over the player’s availability. The 22-year-old remained at Verona for the first half of this season where he continued his good form before Napoli signed him on a co-ownership deal in January where he has gone on to make 11 appearances for Rafa Benitez’s side. TMW  have claimed Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos has held discussions with Arsenal while he was in London this month, though nothing has been decided yet. Santos will meet with Napoli officials next month to decide the player’s future, with Chelsea and Liverpool likely to enter the race in the summer.
