Arsenal are lining up a summer move for exciting Belgian youngster Dennis Praet, FootballDirectNews.com understands.
The 19-year-old is widely regarded to be among the most promising up-and-coming talents in Europe at the moment, and has been tracked by Liverpool and Manchester United in the past. A skillful and intelligent attacking midfielder, Praet has been a regular for Anderlecht for the last two seasons, and has shown that he could fit in well alongside the big names at the Emirates Stadium. Arsene Wenger has often shown a fondness for bringing through young talent, and Praet may feel a move to the Gunners would be a good next step for him in his career. Arsenal already have plenty of options in the attacking midfield department, but it has recently been suggested that the likes of Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski could be on their way out of the club this summer, which would leave room for Praet to come in and establish himself as a regular.

My understanding is that Wenger is quite keen on Praet from Anderlecht, a club insider revealed. “He’s one of the most promising young players out there, so it might be tricky if other clubs are interested too. “
