Sergio Aguero has proven to be more effective against Liverpool than Luis Suarez has against Manchester City, scoring twice in three games. Aguero has scored twice in three Premier League games for Man City against Liverpool, including his last two, while Suarez has scored just once in five league meetings between the two sides. The Argentine scored in a 2-2 draw in February 2013 and a 3-0 win in January 2012, both at the Etihad Stadium, while Suarez scored in a 2-2 draw at Anfield in August 2012. Aguero returns to Manuel Pellegrini’s matchday squad after missing a month with an injury picked up against Barcelona in the Champions League and being limited to just two Premier League appearances since New Year’s Day. Suarez, along with his strike partner Daniel Sturridge, has been in prolific form for Liverpool this season with the Uruguayan the current Premier League top scorer on 29 goals from 28 games, with a further 20 assists for the former Ajax forward.
