Inter Milan midfielder Esteban Cambiasso has rejected the club’s offer of a new contract, according to Fichajes. net.
The 33-year-old has attracted interest from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Atletico Madrid and Galatasaray in recent months as he had been approaching the end of his deal at the San Siro, and it now looks as though he will be available on a free transfer in the upcoming summer transfer window. It remains to be seen which clubs will be in for him in the coming months, but the vastly experienced Argentine could be a great addition for many clubs given his availability on a free. Cambiasso made over 400 appearances for Inter in total, helping the club to become winners of Serie A five times, as well as Champions League winners as part of their memorable treble-winning season in 2009/10.

Although Spurs have been linked with other targets, such as Juventus’ Claudio Marchisio and Mohamed Diame of West Ham United, they could be tempted to move for the veteran midfield player if he would consider a switch to English football.
Having made 28 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring four goals, Cambiasso has shown he is still a consistent performer at the top level.
