Tottenham Hotspur are pondering a move to bring Adel Taarabt back to White Hart Lane, FootballDirectNews.com understands.
The 24-year-old is currently with Queens Park Rangers, but is spending the second half of this season on loan at AC Milan, who are keen to keep him permanently after his impressive form at the San Siro. Only earlier this season Taarabt had been struggling for form with Premier League strugglers Fulham, but his performances in Italy have attracted plenty of interest from top clubs, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United recently linked with him.
The Moroccan international played for Tottenham earlier in his career, though he struggled to make regular appearances for the club and spent much of his time there out on loan with QPR, before eventually making his move to Loftus Road permanent. Still, the north London outfit are ready to give him another chance next season as they eye reinforcements in the wide areas, with last summer’s signings Erik Lamela and Nacer Chadli failing to make much of an impression this year. It remains to be seen if Taarabt himself will be interested in returning to England as he has previously hinted that he would prefer to make his move to Milan permanent.
