Tottenham Hotspur could make a move for young Wolfsburg defender Robin Knoche this summer, FootballDirectNews.com understands.
The 21-year-old centre-back has become a key player for Wolfsburg this season, making 28 starts in the Bundesliga and contributing two goals and one assist alongside his solid defensive displays. Several top sides around Europe are now starting to take notice of Knoche’s performances, with Tottenham supposedly leading the chase for his signature, according to a German football insider.
The north London giants are on the lookout for new signings for their back four this summer, with speculation that the likes of Jan Vertonghen and Younes Kaboul could be on their way out of White Hart Lane after an unconvincing season.
