Liverpool could make a double raid on Napoli this summer as they eye Gokhan Inler and Lorenzo Insigne, FootballDirectNews.com understands.
The Reds seem likely to make a number of big-name additions this summer as they receive a cash boost for what now looks certain to be their first top four finish since the 2008/09 season, and possibly even a Premier League title win. Brendan Rodgers has done well in the transfer market so far, and is now on the lookout for new signings in the defensive midfield area, as well as out wide, with Inler coming up as one of Liverpool’s targets in January.

A move for the Swiss international never materialised on that occasion, but the Merseyside giants are expected to renew their interest in the 29-year-old in the summer, whilst also looking at talented young winger Insigne.
The 22-year-old is one of the most promising home-grown players at Napoli, and has caught the eye this season with five goals and five assists in all competitions, sparking rumours of interest from Manchester United back in the winter transfer window.

My understanding is that Rodgers is looking quite closely at two Napoli players, Inler and Insigne, a Liverpool insider revealed. “I think Inler is more likely to be available, but Insigne is a big talent and I think the club will do what they can to bring him here.
