Ryan Giggs is being sensationally lined-up to become caretaker boss of Manchester United until the end of the season should the team fail to shine over the next three games.
The veteran United star is waiting in the wings following reports that David Moyes has the upcoming games against Olympiacos, West Ham United and the crucial Manchester derby game next week to save himself from the axe.
The club is at its worst low in 25 years and these games are now seen as absolutely crucial to the former Everton manager’s future. United are all but out of the Champions League and the humiliating defeat by Liverpool brought unberable suffering and embarrassment to the club and its fans on Sunday.

Anything other than victory at Upton Park and a vastly improved performance against local rivals City will almost certainly see the axe fall on Moyes. And with favourite for the job  Louis van Gaal unavailable until Holland complete their World Cup campaign, Giggs would be the man United are likely to turn to to steer the club through their last handful of games. A source close to Old Trafford told FootballDirectNews.com exclusively: “Ryan of course has the respect of everybody at the club and even were there to be little left in our season, he would demand a surge of pride in the badge and be assured of a response. “
