Manchester United are reportedly chasing young Iranian winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh.
The 20-year-old currently plies his trade in the Dutch Eredivisie for NEC Nijmegen, but could soon be playing in the Premier League as David Moyes looks for a pacey winger this summer.
Jahanbakhsh will have a chance to put himself in the shop window this summer when he appears for Iran at the World Cup in Brazil. Iran, who are coached by former Old Trafford number two Carlos Queiroz, are in group F along with Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Nigeria. United are looking at a number of targets this summer as Moyes deliberates how to spend his 200 million war chest.

Moyes is also looking at Antoine Griezmann at Real Sociedad, but with the Gunners and Liverpool also keen, United’s expected lack of Champions League football next season will damage their market attraction. On being linked with United, Jahanbakhsh told the Tasnim news agency: “It’s flattering when Manchester United talks very well about you and I’m feeling good when I read in media that they want me. It’s interesting for me and my friends talked about that with me but at the moment I cannot take it seriously.
